Creighton Named NAIA Honorable Mention All-American
3/18/08 - Grand View senior guard/forward Angie Creighton (Bettendorf, Ia.) has been selected to the NAIA All-America Honorable Mention Team. Creighton started in 32 games for Grand View this season and averaged 15.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 3.2 blocks per game. She shot 48.7% from the field, 39.6% from the three-point line, and 73.8% from the free throw line.  Creighton collected ten double-doubles, was named the MCC Player of the Week four times, and broke the GVC single-game record for blocks in a game with 8 against Dana in 2007-08.  Complete Release

Four Vikings Selected to MCC All-Conference Teams
3/6/08 - Four members of the Grand View women's basketball team have earned MCC All-Conference honors.
Senior Angie Creighton (Bettendorf, Ia.) and sophomore Bailey Schechinger (Manilla, Ia.) were selected to the MCC First Team. Senior Tanna Slings (Prairie City, Ia.) and junior Jodi Nikkel (Sully, Ia.) were named to the MCC Honorable Mention Team. Complete MCC All-Conference Release

Creighton Named MCC Player of the Week
3/04/08- Grand View senior guard/forward Angie Creighton has been selected as the Midwest Collegiate Conference Player of the Week for women's basketball announced today. It is Creighton's fourth MCC POW honor this season. Last week, Creighton averaged 14.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks, and 1.5 steals in the MCC Tournament. She shot 50% (11-22) from the field and 75% (6-8) from the free throw line. Creighton’s two double-doubles in the tournament were her ninth and tenth of the season.
