The Health care program is designed to offer a distinctive opportunity for students to influence the health, lifestyle and productivity of individuals and organizations. It prepares students to plan, implement and evaluate health promotion programs and encourages them to become committed to the vision of improving the health and well-being of society. Nursing and two individualized programs in Health Promotion are the areas of focus.

The Nursing major develops meaning in nursing situations in a variety of healthcare environments. Student-faculty relationships create outcomes that develop a nursing professional who values learning and embodies a caring ethic.
